Back to school lunches made easy! ALDI’s Super 6 inspire fun, healthy lunchboxes

School is back - and so is the weekday lunchbox rush. This year, parents can swap same-old sandwiches out for fresh, fun, and healthy ideas – all thanks to ALDI’s Super Six.

From now until September 10th, parents can head to ALDI stores nationwide to avail of amazing offers across fresh fruit and veg, hunger-busting snacks and quality meats. With fresh produce from just 49c and snack favourites under €2, it’s easy to mix, match and keep lunches exciting all term long – ensuring lunchboxes come home empty, not untouched!

Rainbow Vegetable & Ham Wraps

Ingredients (serves 2 lunchboxes)

Cucumber sticks (€0.49)
Grated carrot (€0.79)
Wafer Thin Carved Ham (€0.99)
Twin Pepper (€0.99)
2 Wraps (€1.49)

Method

Lay ham slices on the wrap.
Arrange cucumber, red pepper, yellow pepper and carrot slices in lines for rainbow effect.
Roll up tightly and slice into pinwheels for a fun lunch they will love!

Bento “Pick & Mix” Box

Ingredients (1 box)

Cucumber, sliced (€0.49)
Mini Easy Peeler (€0.49)
Wafer Thin Carved Ham (€0.99)
Peppers, sliced (€0.99)
Blueberries (€0.99)
Seedless grapes (€0.99)
Penguin bar (€1.49)
High Protein Mini Rice Cakes (€1.99)

Method

Fill one section with rolled-up slices of ham.
In the next section, add mini slices of cucumber and bell pepper.
Add a handful of blueberries, grapes or easy peeler segments for a healthy boost.
Throw in kid-friendly rice cakes for crunch.
Finish with a sweet treat - like Granola Bars €1.49 or Glenisk Organic Kids Yogurt €1.99!
